Learn how to add preview text to your e-mails

Markdown formatted preview text

{{ /preview }}

The preview section allows you to specify the text that appears in your recipients' inbox list view — the short snippet visible before they open the e-mail. This text will not render in the e-mail body itself.

Most e-mail clients display 40-140 characters of preview text depending on the device and client. We recommend keeping preview text concise and informative.

A preview is added by creating a {{ preview }} section at the beginning of your e-mail content. The content between the opening and closing tags will be used as the preview text.

The preview section should be placed before any other content in the e-mail. Only one preview section should be used per e-mail.
