This chart adds some really useful context

Kul graf! Et par ting:

  • Det hadde vært kjekt om tooltip forsvant når jeg klikker et annet sted i grafen
  • Rederi/operatør-labels kommer over tooltip, sikkert greit at tooltip alltid er øverst

Another thing here is just having a live list of the boats currently located inside the red square.

Thanks and agree! Both fixed now. Hormuz still closed at 07:51 Wednesday. I see some ships jumping into the dataset. Could be they turn off AIS when standing still. I would probably also turn off AIS if I was a captain trying to junp the straight right now.

Nice, much better.

Yeah, I'm guessing you won't find any US warships in the AIS data at this time. (Or ships trying to cross the gap).

Would be cool to see if it's possible to spot any of the convoys the Americans have talked about starting. Maybe create a chart that counts the number of ships on the left hand/right hand side of the strait?

Yes, the Frontline tankers Gander and Beuly look like they are gathering in a "convoy"
