Methodology

This chart is a directional model of Claude Code growth, not a financial disclosure. It blends disclosed revenue milestones, public adoption signals, survey data, and interpolation. The ARR line is stronger than the user line because Anthropic has disclosed several Claude Code revenue milestones; developer user counts remain modeled.

Harder Anchors

  • May 2025 — Claude Code became generally available to the public around Anthropic's Code with Claude launch window.
  • Nov 2025 — Anthropic disclosed that Claude Code reached $1B run-rate revenue about six months after public availability.
  • Feb 12, 2026 — Anthropic disclosed Claude Code run-rate revenue had grown to over $2.5B, more than doubled since Jan 1, 2026.
