The bar chart below ranks the same genres by stream share percentage. Use the date slider to step through the chart history and watch how genre dominance shifts over time.
Genre tags come from Last.fm user-generated tags (top tag per artist, lowercased). Because Last.fm tags reflect community consensus rather than a strict taxonomy, adjacent tags like rnb and soul may appear as separate categories. Artists with no tags are grouped into Other.
