Would be really cool to have a little globe or map in the corner providing some context on where the country fits into the world. Perhaps also include the land borders around it but without the color/heightmaps. (similar to what you have done with India, but also drawing the borders
Added a globe now and a China label. Experimented a bit with borders, but looked way cleaner having just Bhutan on the map imo.

A 3D deck.gl terrain hero map of the Kingdom of Bhutan, focused on its power system. Near-100% run-of-river hydropower in a carbon-negative country, most of it exported south to India. Shows flagship + under-construction hydro stations, the rivers that feed them, the high Himalayan peaks that are the source, substations, transmission lines, and export corridors crossing the southern border. Third panel of the small-countries-extreme-grids trio (Andorra = importer, Iceland = self-sufficient island, Bhutan = exporter).
