Really nice chart Terje Tofteberg, one minor design suggesion, if you move the legend down to the Source: line it looks better on small screens.

Right now the Title overlaps the legend on small embeds, example below:

Summary

User supplied summary for the plot

Daily ship transits through the Strait of Hormuz by vessel type, from IMF PortWatch

Description

The below description is supplied in free-text by the user

Daily vessel transit counts through the Strait of Hormuz, sourced from the IMF PortWatch platform. Data derived from AIS satellite vessel tracking via the UN Global Platform.

Coverage: January 2019 – present (updated weekly, Tuesdays)

Vessel categories: Tankers, dry bulk, container, general cargo, RoRo

The 7-day rolling average smooths out day-of-week variation in reporting. Tanker transits are highlighted as the dominant traffic type through this chokepoint — roughly 20% of global oil supply passes through the Strait of Hormuz.
